Meet the Founders
About Mike
A native of the Annapolis area, Mike's foundation in land development and construction was established at an early age through immersive exposure to the building industry. After graduating from Penn State with a business degree, he honed his expertise at NVR Homes in mortgage financing before transitioning to hands-on project management and general contracting with Flagship Development. This comprehensive background in both the financial and practical aspects of home building laid the groundwork for establishing Bayberry & Co., where he now leverages his diverse experience to guide clients through the complexities of custom home building.
About Emily
Emily's path to design emerged with a natural talent for spatial transformation and styling interior spaces, as she pursued her early career in education. As Bayberry Homes grew under Mike's direction, the opportunity to turn design into a second career unfolded. Her innate eye for detail and passion for creating thoughtful living spaces led to increasingly involved collaboration with clients, prompting her to deepen her design expertise. By 2021, her growing portfolio of projects and comprehensive industry knowledge culminated in the establishment of Bayberry Design Co., which has since merged with the build arm to create the full-service firm Bayberry & Co. operates today.
